ANGELICA TILTON
Angelica was born in San Diego, California. Her early years of ballet training began with Ben and Laurie-Michelle Houk at San Elijo Dance and Music Academy in San Marcos, CA. Angelica attended various summer intensive programs from 2007-2015 at: Pacific Northwest Ballet, School of American Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Ballet West, American Ballet Theatre, and Ballet Arizona. When she was 14, she was invited to study under Lola de Avila and Patrick Armand in the Pre-professional program at the San Francisco Ballet School from 2009-2013. She was then offered a full scholarship to study in New York City under Franco De Vita at American Ballet Theatre’s Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School from 2013-2015. She trained with Lupe Serrano, Martine van Hamel, Melissa Allan Bowman, and Richard Bowman. Angelica danced with Ballet Arizona’s Studio Company under Carlos Valcarcel from 2015-2016.
From 2018-2019 Angelica trained with Timothy Lynch and Alexandra Dickson. Angelica has been teaching ballet and other styles of dance in the San Diego County area for the last three years. Angelica’s passion is to share the love of dance and self-expression and to help young dancers find their authenticity and joy in movement.
