ALL BOYS CLASS

Friday  4:00 - 5:00 pm (PST)

A Zoom component will be available in an effort to reach boys at studios with a small male population, to introduce them to other boys in ballet and provide a safe place for all boys to learn ballet without criticism or judgement.

Tim has been teaching boys across the country for over 20 years.  He started teaching for Pacific Northwest Ballet’s Dance Chance program, but was soon teaching all the boys in the PNB School.  Tim spearheaded a creative movement class for all boys, and watched the male population grow from 45 school-wide to 150 and growing when he left. Many of his students have gone on to dance in companies around the globe. Tim's Master’s thesis research at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee was in the physical and emotional development of boys in ballet, specifically, as well as his role as the male mentor for young boys.

Partial and full scholarships are available for male dancers for the 2022-2023 Trainee Program.
